The cottage, perched along one of the steep lanes leading from Holmfirth was built in 1800. It was stripped to its shell and the ground floor reconfigured to create a light, contemporary open-plan space. A palette of neutral tones, natural linens, oak and Douglas fir created a relaxed, Scandinavian feel.
